Self Care has become such a buzzword in recent years, but it’s principle and practice is so important-- especially for sensitive and anxious souls, like myself. So, what exactly is self-care? It’s a habit or ritual that’s grounding and focused on reducing stress. In layman’s terms: IT'S ME TIME, BITCHES.

Now that the weather is getting cooler and summer’s social obligations are in the rearview, there’s no better time to start or enhance your own self-care routine. Here are twenty of my go-to’s:

  1. Sun Salutations

  2. Journaling

  3. Daily To-Do’s and Goal Setting

  4. Drinking Tea

  5. Using a Netipot

  6. Meditating

  7. Baths with Epsom Salt

  8. Rubbing Eucalptus Oil on Pressure Points

  9. Massages

  10. Sleeping in Cozy Socks

  11. Reading Before Bed

  12. Laying Out Clothes Before Bed

  13. Making the Bed Every Day (except for when Hubby is still sleeping)

  14. Make a Gratitude List

  15. Sleep with a Humidifier

  16. Go for a Daily Walk

  17. Play with the Pup

  18. Unplug for at Least an Hour a Day

  19. Wash and Clean my Face Nightly

  20. Laugh
